The colors indicate the expression values scaled to the standard deviations and centered at the control intensity level (Z-score). Red indicates increased expression and green indicates decreased expression relative to the control condition. Gene expression at time points labeled with an asterisk on the map showed differential expression between treated and control inflorescence meristems (p <0.05), whereas the remainder were considered to not respond to BA treatment (p >0.05).
