CHEF analysis of circular YAC isolates containing alphoid DNA arrays. Chromosomal size DNA was isolated from transformants, expose to a low dose of gamma-rays, separated by CHEF and blot hybridized with alphoid DNA probe. Strong signals at the positions of the starting wells correspond to large circular DNA molecules. The leading bands correspond to molecules linearized by the radiation.
