Comparison between RH map and chicken genome assembly. The RH map (left) obtained in this study is compared to the draft sequence assembly (right, http://www.ensembl.org/Gallus_gallus/). For each marker on the framework map, a line joins both positions (cR and Mb) together. Discrepancies or missing data are indicated. Unknown: sequence of unknown location in the assembly; absent: sequence not found (no BLAST hit); 5_random: sequence attributed to GGA5, but whose position is unknown precisely in the assembly.
