Left panels: Control cells untreated. Right panels: Cells treated with 0.01 μg/ml of actinomycin D for 4 h at 37°C. After treatment, cells were washed twice with PBS, fixed for 5 min with formaldehyde, stained for 5 min with DAPI (0.8 μg/ml) and then washed once with PBS. Images were then taken using confocal microscopy with deconvolution.
