  1. A sequence from Synechococcus sp. Yellowstone B JA-2-3B'a 2–13 was used to screen for L-arginine amidinotransferase sequences. The screen for L-arginine oxidase/dehydrogenases was performed with the aoxA sequence from Synechococcus elongatus PCC 6301/PCC 7942.
