From: Genome signature analysis of thermal virus metagenomes reveals Archaea and thermophilic signatures
Subtrees of Bear Paw metagenome contigs. The metagenomic contigs were subjected to oligonucleotide difference analysis at the tetranucleotide level, Euclidean distances computed, and compared by Neighbor-joining analysis with a microbial database. The resulting phylogeny contained 462 OTUs, and the portions of the phylogeny containing the Bear Paw contigs are shown. Bear Paw contigs are shown in green, Archaea are shown in purple, and Bacteria are shown in blue.
