Gene expression of genes known to be involved in the ecdysteroid cascade in other arthropods are shown: salmon louse forms of E74, 63E, EcR, HR46, HR38, E75, FTZ-F1, Broad, as well as the lipase Brummer, which is involved in the regulation of lipolysis in drosophila [33] and the gap gene Krueppel. Genes significantly down-regulated (T-test p-value < 0.05) in the knock-down group are marked with *.
