  1. Wild type PR8 virus was sequenced in duplicate (S1 and S2) on both sequencers and the processed reads were mapped to the reference sequence (based on the sequence obtained from the plasmids from which the virus was produced, with addition of the extra 20 nucleotides present at the 5′ site in the RT-PCR primers).
