A, B, C, D, E, and F show the average CpG → TpG/CpA, TpG/CpA → CpG, CpG → GpG/ApG/CpC/CpT, GpG/ApG/CpC/CpT → CpG, A/T → G/C, and G/C → A/T substitution rates in lowly methylated CGIs with a CpG → TpG/CpA substitution rate of ≥0.03825 or a CpG → TpG/CpA substitution rate of <0.03825, respectively. The details of the figure are the same as those described in the legend to Figure 3. CpG → TpG/CpA ≥ 0.03825 shows a CpG → TpG/CpA substitution rate of ≥0.03825.
