Cluster analysis of the 11 AA11exp subfamilies. Cluster analysis based on the number of shared hexapeptides between each subfamily. Subfamily 1 that included the AA11 protein designated as enzymatically characterized in the CAZy database is indicated with the same symbol as in Figure 1. The symbol is blue to indicate the the characterized enzyme oxidizes chitin. Cluster analysis was performed as described in Methods.
