Most represented species in Top Blastx-matches and gene ontology classification of the Tuta absoluta transcriptome. a. The analysis of the 93,477 contigs was conducted by Blast2Go [29] using Blastx at an E-value cutoff of e−3. Top-hits included insect species with complete genome sequences, including Coleopterae (T. castaneum), Lepitodptera (B. mori), Diptera (A. aegypti, C. quinquefasciatus), Hymenoptera (N. vitripennis, M. rotundata), Hemiptera (A. pisum), and Phthiraptera (P. humanus). b. The analysis of the 93,477 contigs was conducted by Blast2Go [29], using Blastx to recover annotations with significant homology from the NCBI. All terms ‘Biological Processes’, ‘Molecular Function’ and ‘Cellular Component’ at level 2 are represented as percent over total number of sequences, in decreasing order
