Multiple pdm locus enhancers regulate transgene expression in embryonic, larval, and/or adult tissues. Shown is a summary of cis-regulatory activity of the 116 conserved sequence clusters (CSCs) during three developmental stages. The schematic representations of the nub and pdm-2 gene structures are aligned to fragments that were tested for cis-regulatory activity (alternating black and grey blocks, see Methods).
