  1. Many putative de novo SNPs were present at significant frequencies in the lab-adapted population, despite being absent in the wild population. Using a minimum read depth of 900× overlapping paired-end (OPE) reads, PELE-Seq detected 9 putative de novo SNPs found above 6 % frequency in the lab-adapted population
