We identified several SNPs associated with PAP levels in CSF that are in or near the ACPP gene, which codes for PAP, and plotted association p-values in the region. rs3844501 has the strongest association with PAP CSF levels and is located approximately 2000 nucleotides upstream of the ACPP transcription start site.
