Fe Regulation of FA 1090 SAM Riboswitch. The SAM riboswitch is located in the 5′ UTR of the methionine adenosyltransferase gene NGO_0106 and anti-sense to hypothetical protein NGO_00570. FB indicates the presence of a Fur Box consensus sequence. a Real time PCR RNA samples results from cells harvested at 1,2,3,4 and 5 h showing induction of SAM riboswitch transcription in the presence of Fe beginning at late log and increasing into stationary phase.
