  1. aPositions in the G. hirsutum genome were inferred by aligning the sequences of markers in the confidence interval to the cotton AD genome(Sequencing version: BGI_Gossypium_hirsutum_v1.0,https://www.cottongen.org/species/Gossypium_hirsutum/bgi-AD1_genome_v1.0). The sequences of the markers in the confidence interval were obtained based on the physical positions of the SNPs in the G. raimondii genome, as described by Gore et al. (2013) or on the basis of the sequences of SSRs searched in the database (https://www.cottongen.org)
