Examples of reciprocal expression of metabolic genes and some their targeting miRNAs during the metabolic switch in developing chickens. Levels of mRNA and miRNA in liver samples from E18, E20, D0, D1 and D3 chickens were determined by RNAseq and small RNAseq, respectively. Levels of mRNA are expressed as the log2 of the RPKM.
