The distance between RC and Poisson (DP) and negative binomial (DNB) distributions are calculated with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic D. Panels b and d report the correlation between DOC data and GC content % and mappability. Panels c and e show the effect of median normalization approach on GC content % and mappability. The violin plots of panel f show the correlation between absolute number of DNA copies obtained by DOC signals and those previously estimated by McCarroll et al. Panels g and h summarize the TPR and number of FP detected by XCAVATOR with PacBio and Illumina data
