Spot assays of BL21 pET 32a–ScJAZ6 (b) and BL21 pET 32a (control) (a) on LB plates supplemented with NaCl, PEG, and CuCl₂. After induction by using 1.0 mM isopropyl β-D-thiogalactoside (IPTG) at 37 °C for 12 h, the cultures were adjusted to OD₆₀₀ = 0.6.
