The largest cowpea TF and TAP families, and their sizes in common bean and soybean. Domains from all gene models are counted in (a) whereas genes (not counting gene models) are counted in (b). The largest fifteen families in cowpea account for approximately 56% of the cowpea TF, TR and TAP domains (and 54.5% of genes), whereas in soybean, these same families account for almost 52% of domains (and 53.1% of genes). Moreover, the over-representation of families such as PcG_FIE and the under-representation of families such as C2H2 in cowpea compared to common bean and soybean is shown
