The light blue boxes indicate an expression ratio that is less than the mean, and dark red boxes denote an expression ratio that is greater than the mean. The tree clusters and their shorter Euclidean distances indicate higher similarities. The similarity between the two metabolites is represented by the branch height; the lower a node is vertically, the more similar its subtree is
