DHS content profiles in IR and IE. For each sequence bin within an IR/IE event we show the frequency with which that bin overlaps a DHS. Profiles are computed for arabidopsis leaf samples (a), arabidopsis flower samples (b), rice leaf samples (c), and rice callus samples (d). In all samples, we see overall higher DHS occupancy across IR events compared to IE events, suggesting a more open chromatin in IR. Moreover, the DHS content is much higher in the 3’ exons of IR events
