Type I IFN pathway. Analysis of gene expression responses related to the type I IFN pathway upon exposure of A22 and B57 cells to inactivated VHSV. The expression profiles at 24 h post-inoculation (infected versus control) were simultaneously mapped on the IFN pathway. Gene boxes are color coded according to FC as indicated. The pathway is based on knowledge of IFN signaling and ISG expression in mammalian and fish species. It is not meant to be exhaustive, and all the interactions between signaling components may not have been experimentally confirmed in rainbow trout (or even in fish)
