The scavenger receptor repertoire in Trichoplax sp. H2 shows a remarkable domain diversity but only mammalian classes B, E and I are recognizable. The combination of CTLDs with GPCRs of the secretin/adhesion family is unique. Numbers on the left represent the count of predicted proteins with the respective domain pattern. Numbers above brackets indicate the range or amount of the same domain. An additional glycoprotein hormone receptor containing one CTLD has been omitted. See also Additional file 4: Dataset S3A
