A generic workflow for stability assessment of differential expression analysis. Several perturbed samples are generated from the original dataset by either bootstrap or subsampling in the first step. In the second step, a DE method is applied to each perturbed sample and a subset of features is selected for a given threshold to the p-values generated by the DE method. Finally, the stability measure is computed by taking the average of similarities of all pairwise sets of DE features
