Variants were identified by aligning B. cretica genome resequencing reads against the B. oleracea reference genome as described in the Methods section. The outer ring represents the nine pseudomolecules of the reference sequence. The next ring indicates the density of SNPs that distinguish all four B. cretica genomes from the B. oleracea reference genome. The next ring represents density of SNPs that distinguish subspecies nivea from the other two B. cretica genomes.
