For Biological Process (BP) categories that are likely to be important in eye-stalk development and evolution, the bars represent the percentage of D. melanogaster genes belonging to that category for which homologues have been identified in the EST database. The numbers within each bar indicate how many genes were found within that category in the T. dalmanni libraries.
