The statement "ST320 is a single-locus variant (different at one gene in the MLST schema comprising seven genes) of Taiwan 19F-14 (ST236) which spread globally in the pre-PCV7 era [17]." is inaccurate. The allelic profile of ST320 (4,16,19,15,6,20,1) differs at two genes (not only at one) of ST236 (15,16,19,15,6,20,26).
