The black-lined curves show the distribution of the correlation coefficients for all mRNAs and the orange-lined curves show the correlation coefficient distribution for only PicTar target mRNAs of miR-125b, miR-29a and let-7i. (D) A list of differential expressed miRNAs (ref: reference) that not only show distinct mean correlation coefficients between with their targets and with all mRNAs (asterisk denotes P < 0.05) but also have concordant RR values.
