Role of the proximal region of the mouse ALG12 promoter in regulating the transcriptional activity of the gene. Neuro2a cells were transfected with the indicated CRELD2 or ALG12 reporter constructs. Twenty-four hours after transfection, the cells were incubated with or without Tg (0.1 μM) for 10 h, and luciferase activity was measured. A deleted site in the most proximal region of the ALG12 promoter is shown as site III. Control and Tg-treated activities are shown as open and closed columns, respectively.
