  1. For each gene, the fold change of expression of 14-month-old (14M) and 18-month-old (18M) was calculated versus 6-month-old (6M). Pathways that have significant association with the whole set of regulated genes in bone marrow and epididymal adipocytes with age were assessed using IPA software. * Ratio of altered genes in bone marrow adipocytes to assigned pathway. **The p-value was calculated by IPA using Fisher's Exact Test.
