Experimental validation of Cd accumulation in selected genes involved in the ESCRT and MVB pathways. Yeast cells were grown overnight in liquid medium to an OD_600nm = 1.1. Cells were then serially 10-fold diluted, spotted onto solid media containing YNB without amino acids (6.7 g/L), CSM without uracil (0.77 g/L), uracil (0.086 g/L), NaCl (0.508 g/L) and 2% glucose and grown at 30°C for 72 hr.
