From: Phage cluster relationships identified through single gene analysis
Cluster relationships are evident in Gepard dotplot alignments of whole genome and TMP sequences from 24 Siphoviridae coliphages. Using the single-gene comparison method, a Gepard dotplot of TMP demonstrates that clusters are identifiable in coliphages based on whole genome comparisons (A) and TMP nucleotide sequences (B). Whole genome and TMP sequences were downloaded from GenBank and Gepard [12] was used to generate dotplots.
