Relative change of expression for nine genes related with carotenoid biosynthesis. Log₂ of the fold change relative to the first point of development (10 DAA) is presented. Fold changes were originally estimated in the RNA-Seq experiment (red line) and validated by qRT-PCR (black line). In all cases the results are the average of two biological replicates. Confidence intervals for each point were too small to be represented in the plot. Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, r, and the P value for the hypothesis that r=0 are also presented for each gene tested.
