Repressor binding sequences are more likely to encode nucleosomes intrinsically. (A) In vitro nucleosome occupancy around the activator and repressor sites, and their distal sites in both GM12878 and K562 cells. The in vitro nucleosome signals were normalized by the length of TFBSs and given as the mean ± standard deviation. Statistically significant differences were detected using a Wilcoxon rank-sum test.
