  1. Assay categories are described in detail in the Results section. No1 and No2 refer to the Brassica rapa and Brassica oleracea accessions that were analysed by using Illumina’s GoldenGate® Genotyping assay. For Brassica napus var. Express, plant DNA samples and BACs that had been allocated to the A and C subgenomes were examined. The columns designated “SNP” show the SNP assay nucleotides that were found by using Illumina’s GoldenGate® Genotyping assay. Which of the different assay nucleotides matched the whole genome shotgun sequences (WGS) and/or genome survey sequences (GSS) is displayed in the columns “WGS” and “WGS (GSS)”. Data points that were not determined are marked as “nd”.
