Apoptosis was measured in SU86 cancer cell line after transfection with a pool of 4 specific siRNAs for 24 h and exposure to gemcitabine (A) or AraC (B) for an additional 48 h, followed by Caspase-3/7 assay. The x-axis indicates the drug dose and the y-axis represents the relative Caspase 3/7 activity normalized to nontreatment control. P values represented the significant difference in the AUC values derived from the curves between the control and specific knockdown.
