The overview of expressed genes in the mild heat-shocked wild-type. S. cerevisiae JN54 (wild-type) cells were incubated at 30°C to a logarithmic phase (OD660 = 1), and were then treated with mild heat-shock at 43°C for 30 or 60 min. The up-regulated genes (over 2- fold expressed) and down-regulated genes (over 2-fold suppressed) in mild heat-shocked wild-type were determined by twice induction of three individual experiments. These genes were functionally categorized as in Figure 1. A, up-regulated genes. B, down-regulated genes.
