Comparison of the genomic region around the chromosome 33 β-tubulin copy in three Leishmania species. For each species, coding regions are represented by shaded rectangles (scale in base pairs) along the chromosome. Contigs were assembled for L. infantum and L. braziliensis from sequence reads and each assembled contig was aligned with the L. major genomic region using the Artemis Comparison Tool (ACT). Blocks of percentage identity exceeding 80% are shown between chromosome cartoons. Locus identifiers refer to the published annotation http://www.geneDB.org.
