Agreement within genes for fold changes determined by Affymetrix rhesus GeneChip and quantitative real-time PCR. The "rhesus-array Fold Change" is defined as: Mean Signal of the target gene in its exclusively-expressed tissue/Mean Signal of the target gene in the other tissue, while the gene signal was estimated from the Affymetrix rhesus arrays. The "qRT-PCR Fold change" is defined as: 2ΔΔCt ΔΔCt = (Ct of the target gene in its exclusively-expressed tissue – Ct of the control gene in its exclusively-expressed tissue) – (Ct of the target gene in the other tissue – Ct of the control gene in the other tissue), while the threshold cycle (Ct) was the average value from five replicates from the qRT-PCR assay. Please note the Ct value of the gene PRSS2 in the tissue of Fibroblast was missing due to the undetermined readings. Thus, the maximum cycle number 40 was assigned to approximate the value.
