For A and C the SC WAT level was set to a value of 1. For B and D the transcript level in spleen was set to a value of 1. For A – D, data was corrected against Gapdh (black fill) and or 36B4 (white fill) as internal control for qPCR analysis; values stated in the text are the average of the Gapdh-corrected and 36B4-corrected data for each comparison. For A and C, * indicates p < 0.001 for liver vs. SC WAT. For D, * indicates p < 0.05 for SC WAT vs. all others.
