From: Characterization of repetitive DNA landscape in wheat homeologous group 4 chromosomes
Molecular phylogenetic analysis. Evolutionary relationships among members of the six novel LTR families. Aegilops tauschii and Triticum aestivum whole genome shotgun sequences deposited at NCBI were searched using the six novel LTRs identified in wheat 4D chromosome as probes. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted in MEGA4 [75]. The number of positions that resulted parsimony informative out of the total positions in the final dataset, were a) 1015/1194 (Victoria), b) 80/82 (Carmen), c) 331/373 (Gabrielle), d) 104/1535 (Francisca), e) 1401/1902 (Genoveva), f) 313/342 (Facunda).
