Temporal dynamic expression of miRNAs in P. szechuanica infected with M. larici-populina at 0, 12, 24, 48, 96 and 144 hpi. When plants were infected with Sb052(S), the validated miRNAs were classified into expression patterns a, b and c. When plants were infected with Th053 (T), the validated miRNAs were classified into expression patterns a, b, c and d. For normalization, 5.8S rRNA was selected as a reference gene, and the expression level at 0 hpi (S0 and T0) was set to 1. The statistical analyses and graphics were generated using the SigmaPlot 12.5 statistical package
