Comparative chilling injury symptoms in cold tolerant ‘Chiifu’ and ‘Kenshin’ plant at different time points (0 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h) against chilling treatment (0 ° C). Chilling injury first appeared at 24 h in ‘Kenshin’ thereby gradually progress with the advancement of time points. The ‘kenshin’ plants are completely chill injured at 72 h time point but no chilling injury symptoms appeared in ‘Chiifu’ plants at any time points
