Bars represent OD600nm at the end of 48 h. Bars for the same sugar sharing the same asterix symbol show no statistical difference in growth (P > 0.05), after mean comparison by performing One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Least Significant Test (LSD).
