Each dot in the plot represents level of expressed gene in transcriptome profiles of four experimental groups. Blue dots show the expression level of selected candidate CP genes in male control fin (MCF), male treatment fin (MTF), female control fin (FCF), and female treatment fin (FTF), which are not significantly differentially expressed. Each blue dot in different experimental groups stands approximately on the same expression level and the expression level of corresponding dot in different experimental group connected using gray lines. The y-axis is the logarithm of counts per 1 million reads per mega base pairs (log₂CPM per Mbp)
