Fig. 7From: Insight into unique somitogenesis of yak (Bos grunniens) with one additional thoracic vertebraSeven factors were considered in the selection of the 10 most reliable markers. Each factor corresponds to one of seven circles. A number from 1 to 7 was assigned to each circle from the outside to the inside. The first circle represents 29 autosomes, 1 X chromosome and 1 extra chromosome used to carry the contigs that were not assigned to chromosomes. The third circle is representative of the gene names; while the histogram shown in the second circle aligned with the third circle which represented the number of loci in this gene. Each gene corresponded to two bars: the left blue bar indicated the number of loci resided in this gene and the right purple bar indicated the loci located at the outside of the gene but within 5 kb of the gene. The 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th circles were aligned with each other and represented the conditions of each locus. The locus whose genotype was homozygous is shown as a black line in the fourth circle. The number of haplotypes for a locus was represented by the length of this locus’ bar at the 5th, 6th, and 7th circle corresponding to the YC-ZC population, the YC population and the ZC population, respectivelyBack to article page
