The 7 pathways involve transmissions of neurotransmitters of glutamate (Glu), (nor) epinephrine (NE), dopamine (DA), endocannabinoid (EC), γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), serotonin (5HT) and acetylcholine (Ach) across presynaptic and postsynaptic neurons.
