Effects of a protein translation inhibitor, cycloheximide (CHX), on the expression of SlNAC genes. Three-day-old seedlings (cv. AC) were subjected to 1/5 strength Hoagland nutrient solution (10 μM Pi; pH 5.0) containing 0 or 5 μM CHX for 1 h, and then the seedlings were transferred to the same nutrient solution containing 0 or 10 μM Al for 6 h. Data are means ± SD (n = 3)
