Genome completeness using single-copy orthologs (BUSCO eukaryota_odb9 database) was assessed for the Thalassiosira pseudonana (a) and Phaeodactylum tricornutum (b) reference genomes as well as the unpolished and polished versions of the Canu and Flye de novo assemblies for both diatom species.
